General Requirements

Based upon previous Games, candidates interested in joining us for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of a Games-time employment position can expect requirements including the following (note that these are subject to change):

• Must be 19 years of age by July 24, 2012
• Should be able to speak and read English fluently (additional languages are an asset)
• Must be able to be legally employed in either the United Kingdom or the United States
• Must be able to commit for all of July and August, 2012 as well as be available for possible training sessions prior to that time
• Local staff must have accommodations in London, England or the surrounding area during the period of employment
• Must be familiar with the local culture
• Must be familiar with the Olympic Games
• Must provide your own transportation to work during the period of employment

Qualifications

Jet Set Sports employees must:

• Be personable, outgoing, articulate and enthusiastic
• Be highly motivated and possess strong leadership skills
• Have strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills, as well as the ability to interact with a variety of people at various levels
• Be flexible, able to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks
• Be punctual, highly organized and have attention to detail
• Be interested in customer service, the hospitality industry or sports management
• Have a high level of enthusiasm for the Olympic Games
