**Please note the application deadline for London 2012 Games Management positions is January 10, 2012.**

At every Olympic Games for the past two decades, Jet Set Sports has been providing the finest Olympic Games Hospitality in the world. We would be unable to perform such a monumental operation without the assemblage of a remarkable Olympic Games staff. Jet Set Sports is legendary for its enthusiastic and hard-working staff, and our next team will be no different. With the help of our staff, we are committed to bringing the highest level of service to all of our guests joining us in London and beyond.

Games-Time Management Positions

If you have significant event or senior project management experience, have a background in the hospitality industry (ticketing, food & beverage, accommodation, transportation, etc.), are knowledgeable concerning the Olympic Games and are familiar with British culture, you may be a candidate for a management position. Management-level positions may involve work in the months or weeks preceding the Games period.

Games-Time Local Staff Positions

Just as the athletic competitions allow athletes to compete at their best, the Jet Set Sports operation allows our staff to perform at their best. The Olympic Games are a fast-paced, complicated and exciting event and providing services to our guests involves many individuals working together to create a seamless team. Some of our temporary, Games-time positions may include the following:

  • Hospitality Staff - The hospitality suite/desk, located at the client’s accommodation property, is where guests will convene to inquire about Olympic events, restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, and other types of tourist information. The hospitality staff responsibilities will include, but are not limited to acting as a concierge, answering questions about local culture and greeting guests.
  • Host or Hostess - A Jet Set Sports Host or Hostess will be with the guests from early morning until late evening ensuring that all of their needs are met. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to meeting guests at the airport, escorting them to and from events and answering questions throughout the guests' stay.
  • Driver - Most of Jet Set Sports' clients will be transported in large luxury motor coaches driven by professional drivers. However, our VIP programs also require a number of drivers who will transport our guests in smaller vehicles. The responsibilities of a driver include driving and escorting guests to and from the venues and meal functions and being very familiar with event venues and the local roads. At the same time, drivers are acting as a host or hostess throughout the guests' stay.
  • Operations Staff - The entire Jet Set Sports operation would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of a number of operational teams. Staff working in the transportation office will monitor vehicles and transport operations, individuals at the airport will greet guests as they arrive and staff in the ticketing office will assist with organizing the delivery of competition tickets. These are just a few of the operational positions - many of which require enthusiasm and energy more than they do expertise in any particular area.

2012 CoSport Team Positions also available!

CoSport, a division of Jet Set Sports, provides individual consumers with an opportunity to experience the excitement and grandeur of the Olympic Games through high-quality tickets and accommodations. Some CoSport packages include host and hospitality services, therefore, these positions are available as well. Please note: Your employment application qualifies you as a candidate for both CoSport and Jet Set Sports positions.

The Experience of a Lifetime

The London 2012 Olympic Games will be truly unforgettable; a job with Jet Set Sports promises to be the same. By applying, you have the opportunity to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will be part of a diverse team made up of energetic, outgoing, responsible and fun-loving people. With this experience, you will take away new skills, new friendships and unforgettable memories. Dates of Employment

To be a part of the Jet Set Sports Team, you will be required to commit for the entire period of the Games. The Olympic schedule is full-time, and your work schedule will be dictated by the responsibilities at hand. It is not uncommon to work several very long days in a row, including weekends. In order to be considered for employment, you must be available for the end of July 2012 and the entire month of August 2012, and be able to participate in potential training sessions in the months and weeks preceding the Games.

Interview Process

  • Once Jet Set Sports has received your online application and materials, we will review them thoroughly. If you have met all of the preliminary requirements and qualifications, we will contact you to schedule an interview.
  • Interviews may be held in the New York/New Jersey area and/or London, England and/or Toronto, Canada. You will be required to come to the interview location you select, at your own expense.
  • Applicants will be evaluated during each interview and qualified candidates will be called back for the next round of interviews.
